As the Guest Services intern at Heinz Field, I got to see the ins and outs of Heinz Field and the Pittsburgh Steelers during their off season.

Starting in January of 2017, I began my internships just as the Steelers had their final game of the season against the New England Patriots in the Division Championship game. The following Monday although the mood was a little low, it was back to work for the front office staff. Although a season comes to an end, there is never really down or off time in this industry because you must start preparing for how you can be better for the next year.

Lucky enough for me, Heinz Field was also host to the 2017 Stadium Series outdoor hockey game featuring the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Flyers. This event was a large part of my internship and was definitely something that was awesome to be apart of.
